Join the DMR and GCRL and signup to volunteer for the 2013 Derelict Crab Trap Cleanup February 21-23. Traps will be accepted on February 23 at the following sites: Pascagoula Point, Ocean Springs Harbor, and Bayou Caddy between 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Refreshments provided & prizes awarded at each site for the most traps collected. Two training sessions to learn trap cleanup basics and to receive supplies will be held at the DMR building on February 18 at 6 p.m. and February 19 at 4 p.m. For more information visit dmr.ms.gov or contact the DMR Shrimp & Crab Bureau at (228) 374-5000.
